One of the things I look forward to every year at Christmas is socks from Santa Claus! Ever since I was a little boy, I have woken up to and put on new, fresh socks on my feet as we went through and opened gifts and enjoyed Christmas together. Socks can be a great inexpensive gift that you can give to your family (or friends) that are practical and something that people need. Most of the socks I wear throughout the rest of the year are the socks I receive at Christmas (just in case you wanted to know).
Giving practical gifts at Christmas time that are inexpensive, but something that people wouldn’t necessarily buy or want to buy for themselves can be special gifts. Providing basic needs to family members and friends can be a special way of saying, ‘Merry Christmas’. Part of Christmas for me now is the joy of looking forward to putting on those fresh, new socks from Santa on Christmas morning.
There are lots of different kinds of socks that you can give!!! Dress socks, athletic socks, fun socks, colored socks, there out to be a book about socks and their categories and kinds. But if you are looking for a funny stocking stuffer or a practical gift, socks can be where its at!
