Pumpkin Painting Parties!!!

Halloween and Fall Festivals are just around the corner and it is about that time to take your kids out to the pumpkin patch so they can pick out their ‘perfect’ pumpkin. Carving pumpkins is a great activity for kids and a fun family time together during the holidays.

But this year, if you’d rather not deal with all of the messy gunk inside your child’s pumpkins, or if you’re worried about them handling knives and putting candles in a vegetable, try an alternative method: Paint Your Pumpkins!

Painting pumpkins can be a great new family tradition for you this Halloween. Instead of worrying about your kid losing a digit, grab some water soluble paint and paintbrushes and have your child paint their pumpkin. This will give them more creative power and expression, you won’t have to worry about messy gunk and lost fingers, and the pumpkins will last longer.

Try a little bit of both, if you still want some carved pumpkins for the night time, or even better, throw a pumpkin painting party and invite your friends and family to join you in this new Halloween tradition.
