I don’t know what it is about the fall, and I just became a ‘Starbucks’ fan not much than a year ago, but the ‘Pumpkin Spice Blended Creme Frappuccino’ has made my entire autumn season thus far an incredibly tasteful experience. While I still enjoy a good caramel white chocolate mocha or new ‘signature’ hot chocolate, I feel the coolness of fall and the crispness of autumn in each sip of the pumpkin spice frappuccino.
The pumpkin spice blended creme frappuccino offers a new and original taste at Starbucks and if you’re looking into try something with a zip to it, go for the pumpkin spice. The four or five times I’ve had the pumpkin spice, the blend has been perfect and smooth and each sip has brought back memories of my grandmother’s thanksgiving pumpkin pie, as well as the spices of Christmas and New Years. This drink has seasonal power and can also be ordered as a pumpkin spice latte or ice pumpkin spice latte. I’m not a big coffee drinker, so I go for the pumpkin spice blended creme frappucino to get the most of the pumpkin spice flavor.
I would recommend however, only starting out with a tall or grande pumpkin spice, and that goes for the ‘signature’ hot chocolates as well. The incredibly powerful and delicious flavor can be overwhelming for your taste buds and can sweeten your stomach. Start out slow, enjoy and savor each sip, and work your way up to that venti hot chocolate or pumpkin spice latte. The grande pumpkin spice frappuccino was $4.20 and the latte is about $.80 cheaper.
Check back another day for more ‘tastes of fall’ as we explore other seasonal drinks and dishes.
